    Blueberry Coffee Cake

    There are two Blueberry Coffee Cake recipes I love to make and I thought I would post about this one first since it’s so quick and easy to make. I found this recipe on the Joy of Baking website and have made it many times. Usually I will add blueberries to half of the cake and leave the other half plain for my kids. The cake batter has such a great smell and taste. I make mine in a spring form pan so I can easily release the cake and serve.     Valentine Heart Cake Pops

    Valentine’s Day is almost here! I was inspired to make Heart Cake Pops this year after seeing all the wonderful  Cake Pops on Bakerella’s website. This was my first attempt at making cake pops and it was a learning process but well worth the end result. Two things I learned in the the process was that if you are going to make shaped cake pops such as hearts like I did you definitely need to make them thick enough for the lollipop stick  to insert into without the cake pop falling apart.
