“Just Like” Starbuck’s Pumpkin Scones
I’ve been on a scone making kick for some time now and it’s time I combine my love for making scones with my love of pumpkin. Every year Starbuck’s makes a delicious pumpkin scone with a thick sugar glaze that I look forward to devouring alongside a cup of coffee or my all time favorite, a chai latte. It represents Fall in every bite!
Pumpkin Spice Mocha Muffins
Fall, pumpkin, lattes. Yes, please! Ordered my first Pumpkin Latte from Peet’s the other day and was inspired to replicate the flavors in a muffin. Chocolate chips made their way into the recipe as well. I decided to use one of my favorite pumpkin bread recipes as a starting point and then added my own twist. They turned out delicious!
Baked Acorn Squash
Let me just start by saying this is so SIMPLE to make! Baked acorn squash is one of my favorite Fall desserts and I look forward to having it each year. Baked in a steam bath, lightly buttered, and sprinkled with brown sugar. This year I think I finally got my daughter hooked ;-). She ate three bites and came back asking for more but I had already devoured both halves. Bad mommy! Oh I can’t forget my youngest. He ate one bite and didn’t complain.
Applesauce Bars
Applesauce is a staple in our home. It’s my go to sub for butter or oil and it’s always a great snack to have on hand for kids. I wanted to whip up something quick and light and came across this recipe. I had all of the ingredients on hand and I liked that it called for a small amount of butter.
